Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and resident rights Requirements: - Previous experience in senior care, working with people with developmental disabilities, or home care is preferred - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families - Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries - Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures - Reliable transportation to travel to client locations - Must be at least 18 years old Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
