This is a Full-time and/or Part-time PCA Position
Title is: PCA Healthcare Provider
o 40 hours per week paid Weekly,
o rate $15/hr.
o PTO added.
Responsibilities:
o Help learn independent skills.
o Aid in chores and help keep up with household ideas.
o Guidance with paper currency.
o Learning the importance of food portion sizes or using food to replace boredom. (More
recent)

We collaborate on a behavior change program for one behavior at a time. He is very clean and may
take long baths (scheduled timely). He laughs loudly for minutes throughout the day and night, but
he’s rarely seen outside his bedroom.
General Client Summary:
A young autistic adult living in their own home.
No physical assistance is necessary.
He loves Animals.
Grown up with many varieties of dogs.
Many years of experience with taking care of chickens, mini goats, guinea hens, lizards, and fish
he loves gardening.
Helps cook dinners.
He loves art and has large prints.
Has prints sold in an estate sale event.
He is passionate about designing and publishing digital videos on his Personal YouTube Channel.
School and work transition education.
He works great with a schedule, onsite, and with no computer interactions.
He loves any schooling and will be ready 30 minutes early if he has an agreed-upon schedule
plan.
Has a 4th or 5th grade Math level.
Remote school or appointment video conferences do not work for him.
He’s in his bedroom, mostly developing games or app mods and games.
Has a small family.
Challenge notes:
He does not like doing chores today, but they had no problem being on a schedule doing chores
all the time and enjoying it.
Wants to be on his computer 24/7. Computers are one thing in life they feel they can make their
own decisions and control.
He loves to swim and take walks.
Pay 100% goes through the Dakota County FMS Program.
Example of role during the night hours: Night Supervision Responsibilities pays $21.00 per hour.
Aid with appointments.
Assist with Medications.
Aid with Budgeting.
Recommendation.
Be creative on engaging with him.
Make sure bathrooms and kitchen are tidy.
Complete any laundry duties.
Check on the pet list.
Currently no pets.
Make sure door are locked.
Please make sure garbage cans are at the end of the driveway the day before they are scheduled
to come.
Leave notes on how the night was for the day aids, list anything that could be a concern, new
ideas, or if things are getting out of control or don’t make sense.
