Our office uses state of the art technology- CBCT, digital radiographs and charting, iTero scanner, and our doctor is well versed in many unique areas of dental care, including treatment for snoring and sleep apnea, implant placement, and orthodontics with invisalign. Hours:
-8-4pm (Arrive at least 15 minutes early for morning huddle). Weekly schedule negotiable.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Proficiency in Dentrix and Dexis/DTX
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Ability to take vital signs and perform patient assessments
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
