We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth operations in our production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage and execute weekly dumpling production to meet restaurant, retail, and wholesale needs.
- Planning & Inventory: Develop pars, forecast production needs, and order ingredients and materials through vendors to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Cost Management: Control production costs through efficient resource allocation and waste reduction.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and manage a team of 4-6 production assistants, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest quality standards for all products.
- Reporting: Generate and maintain production reports to track progress and ensure accountability.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the production facility.
- Schedule: Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse team.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to quality control and operations is essential.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
