HIRING SERVER LEAD & BARTENDERS

We are looking for a full time SERVER LEAD with experience in fine dining who also understand the importance of maintaining communication with guests and the kitchen to ensure proper timing of all stages of guest meals and create a hospitable environment at all tables. If you are bilingual it's a plus. (Fluent in Spanish).

Now hiring also a part time bartender. If you are bilingual it's a plus but not necessary and personality is key for this position. (Fluent in Spanish)

Our Servers/Bartenders are expected to have a deep understanding of the menu, including the ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles. This, in addition to knowledge of our Beer, Wine, Spirits, and cocktail menus allow them to provide detailed and accurate descriptions to assist guests in making their selections. Servers also will be responsible for crafting outstanding customer experiences. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with runners, cooks and other staff. Servers should be motivated by hospitality and education in food and beverage service. Scratch kitchen, seasonal offerings, Chef driven weekly specials, tropical vibes, wine and cocktail list.

Responsibilities:

You MUST have consistent availability to work weekends.

Dependable and BE ON TIME

Knowledge/experience conducting wine service

Learn detailed and extensive food, wine, and bar menus.

Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.

Engage with customers in a friendly manner to craft engaging experiences.

Make suggestions based on knowledge of guests’ expectations and wants.

Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Collect payments from tables.

Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes and properly enter tips at end of night.

Maintain a clean environment for guests

Be able to open and close restaurant properly with attention to details

Qualifications:

Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff.

Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.

Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.

High school diploma.

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.

2 years minimum of experience in a reputable establishment
