SMOptumRx administers member pharmacy plans, develops pharmacy networks, and negotiates with drug companies to get our members the best medication prices.Within this role as a Customer Service Supervisor, your focus will be managing at least 30 direct reports. You will be responsible for the team’s performance metrics, providing leadership support for any new initiatives and deployments, Actively engaging in team growth along with assisting with projects as needed. On a day to day, you can expect attending 1 on 1’s with your direct reports along with managing daily productivity for your team. Success is measured by your teams’ performance metrics along with team surveys.This is a fast-paced environment and we are looking for a candidate who is able to multitask well.You'll have an opportunity to make an impact on the communities that Optum serves as you help the organization advance health equity on a global scale.Your attendance and punctuality are critical to the role. This is an exempt role.Managing 6 team direct employees, 1 on 1 with agents, attend leadership meetings, work on projects for contractual agreements, managing SLAs for customers, making sure everyone is meeting productivity, call reviews, True manager role.SLA: Team performance in addition to survey’s that the team takes based on team performanceThis position is full time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 5:00am – 10:00pm CST, Sunday - Saturday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.We offer weeks of on-the-job-training. The hours during training will be 8:00am – 5:00pm CST, Monday – Friday.All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of a team members

Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met

Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.

Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment

Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action

High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of work experience

Must be 18 years of age OR older

1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience

5+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems in an office, claims or customer service environment

Previous call center environment experience

Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

Ability to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 5:00am - 10:00pm CST, Sunday through Saturday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years customer service experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Soft Skills:

Ability to multi-task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Rhode Island, OR Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this is $48,300 - $94,500 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
