About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in Deposits and Payments Analytics as part of Consumer Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. This team provides Analytics and Reporting for Deposit Product Payment Solutions such as Debit Cards, Digital Wallets, Checks, and various others. You will partner with Deposit Payments Product colleagues to provide strategic analysis and drive business decisions. Your responsibilities include critical business analysis, participating in key strategy discussions, and focusing on portfolio and customer analytics in support of business objectives. Work with Debit Card Program Managers by assisting them with key business questions, product analysis and campaign strategies. Provide analytical support to develop actionable and insightful analysis and to effectively communicate comprehensive business recommendations to multiple audiences. Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs

Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise

Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities

Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise

Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed

Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Provide business insights by querying Teradata databases to build datasets, analyzing the data and summarizing finding

Develop new data processes and improve the efficiency of existing ones

Build new reports and maintain existing ones using a combination of SQL, SAS, Excel and Tableau

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goal

Mentor junior analysts

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative discipline

Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

4+ years of SQL experience

2+ years of SAS experience

2+ years of Deposit Products experience

2+ years of Financial Services experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
