Receptionist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in the Non-Profit industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role is for a Receptionist, who will be a key part of our diverse workforce. The successful candidate will be expected to handle various tasks, from answering phone calls to welcoming guests and managing our CRM system. Responsibilities: Answering incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate party Greeting visitors upon arrival and notifying the relevant employee of their presence Operating the door software to maintain security within the premises Working independently with minimal supervision Utilizing downtime effectively, such as reading or using the PC for internet browsing Maintaining proficiency in the use of Office 365 and our CRM system Providing a friendly, positive, and outgoing presence within the office Managing basic office tasks as neededRequirements Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the non-profit sector Proficient in basic office skills, including typing, filing, and answering phones Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor Familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
