This Program Director scope includes overseeing the planning, tracking, and managing contractual correspondence, baseline change management, documentation, proposal approvals, negotiations, and other ad hoc activities. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywell's defense and space initiatives. You will report directly to the VP of Space, and you will have the flexibility to work out of one of our various locations in either a hybrid or fully on-site capacity, depending on the business needs and your preference.In this role, your impact is comprehensive, encompassing strategic alignment, program efficiency, quality assurance, timely delivery, issue resolution, data analysis, reporting, cost management, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, risk management, team leadership, mentoring and development, compliance, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and organizational growth. You are instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and enhancement of Space programs, contributing to the organization's overall success and competitiveness in the market.The Program Director – Baseline Change Director has primary responsibility for organizing the team around change management and proposal submission to include fee analysis, and self-assessment of incentive/award fee bearing contracts. As a liaison with Honeywell finance, the Director is responsible for contract deliverable reports provided to the customer as it relates funding requirements and estimates to complete. This customer facing leader will need to act with limited oversight representing Honeywell through front end contract award as well as throughout program execution.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the management of SDRLS/CDRLS and submission

Develop and implement baseline change management strategies and best practices

Ensure compliance with baseline change management standards

Manage overall Space level performance metrics and reporting to the Space VP and other Honeywell Aerospace Leaders

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program success

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

Conduct program reviews and identify areas for improvement

Lead and drive strategic initiatives to enhance change management efficiency and effectiveness

Prioritize building a strong infrastructure for the program management team

Focus on developing and implementing processes, tools, and systems to support program execution and team growth

Develop and conduct contractual training activities with the program management community

Coordinate all Senior Executive approvals for key acquisition or change efforts

Negotiation leadership inclusive of fee assertion and self-assessment

Create customer monthly funds status reporting for the VP of Space and Portfolio Directors

Support comprehensive risk and opportunity management

Lead partnership with HON Law & Contracts for terms review, approvals, and ad hoc L&C inputs as required

U.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a US Citizen: a person who was born anywhere in the United States or its territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands, or who obtained U.S. citizenship through naturalization.YOU MUST HAVE

10+ years of Government Contract Experience

5+ years’ leadership experience in USG DOD contract acquisition and execution.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Business

Extensive negotiation experience for complex development and production programs.

Dispute resolution experience.

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
