We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Security Cloud Solution Engineer to join our North America Accenture Microsoft Business Group. This role, ranging from level C9 to C7, involves implementing Microsoft security solutions and technical configuration of Microsoft 365 security tools, such as Microsoft Defender, in customer environments. The ideal candidate will possess experience conducting comprehensive security assessments of customer environments, advising on cloud security strategies and delivering complex cloud transformation/modernization security projects. The candidate will also have experience in implementing security measures in cloud environments, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of cloud-based systems, and securing cloud deployments with tools such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, etc.Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Security Assessment and Strategy:

Conduct comprehensive security assessments of customer environments, identifying security gaps and risks.

Advise customers on cloud security strategies and best practices, aligning with their business objectives and security requirements.

Deliver complex cloud transformation/modernization security projects, ensuring security alignment and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Cloud Security Implementation and Configuration:

Implement Microsoft security solutions and technical configuration of Microsoft 365 security tools, such as Microsoft Defender, in customer environments.

Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of cloud-based systems, applying security measures such as encryption, access control, firewall, etc.

Secure cloud deployments with tools such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, etc., monitoring and managing cloud security posture and compliance.

Project Management and Collaboration:

Lead and participate in cloud security project initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.What You’ll Need:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in cloud security, with a strong focus on Microsoft security solutions and technical configuration of Microsoft 365 security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender) in customer environments.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in conducting comprehensive security assessments of customer environments, advising on cloud security strategies and delivering complex cloud transformation/modernization security projects.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in implementing security measures in cloud environments, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of cloud-based systems, and securing cloud deployments with tools such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, etc.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts, protocols, and best practices.

Experience with identity governance, SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies.

Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python or PowerShell.

Good understanding of Azure cloud environments and security features.

Experience with cloud security tools such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, etc.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility to travel occasionally for client-facing meetings.

Bonus if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications.
