Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a talented and experienced Program Manager to support our global, partner integrated, strategic healthcare initiatives. As a member of the Healthcare Industry Solutions team, you will work across our customers and AWS sales, marketing, partner, business and finance operations, legal and technical teams to execute and manage strategic programs designed to enable healthcare transformation.We seek a self-starter to take responsibility for the development, execution and management of strategic healthcare initiatives which serve AWS partners and customers. This is a hands-on role with the ideal candidate “rolling up their sleeves,” to interact with customers, partners and AWS teams to accelerate adoption of AWS technology in support of healthcare providers focused on improving healthcare outcomes and experience for patients, providers, and communities. The ideal candidate will have healthcare and technology expertise, demonstrated customer obsession and the ability to encapsulate the unique value proposition of both AWS and partner health solutions. This role requires experience in managing charter, scope, budget, planning, timeline, risk, execution, reporting, communications, and change management for large scale global programs. The candidate must be able to build strong cross-group working relationships (internal and external) and have exceptional organizational skills.In this role you will: 1/engage strategic customers and partners and work with our program teams translate their requirements into our scalable programs, 2/engage on strategic customer opportunities to ensure that our programs meet customer needs, 3/maintain and monitor key metrics, 4/distill insights and report in business reviews to the key stakeholders, 5/provide business requirements to build reports and telemetry for frequent monitoring, 6/ensure procedures are followed to ensure compliance within financial guardrails, 7/collect best practices and insights that can be replicated in other cases, and 8/triage requests in the queue to balance workloads across the team to maximize efficiency and capacity. This role requires close coordination with multiple AWS teams, including senior AWS executives, the AWS sales organization, customers, partners, business development, and professional services.You must have proven track record of successfully delivering and executing strategic programs, collaborating well with business and technical teams, managing program operations, have a passion for technology, a high degree of business acumen, and a broad knowledge of programs and operations.Key Responsibilities Work across all levels of a matrixed, global organization to advance our leading strategic healthcare initiatives Coordinate across many AWS teams with impact and visibility at the highest levels of AWS Collaborate with AWS healthcare, business, sales, services, legal and engineering leaders to develop, manage, and advance each initiative Manage team members, stakeholders and third parties contributing to strategic AWS healthcare initiatives Manage charter, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, weekly and monthly reporting / analytics, KPI’s / measurement, business reviews and working groups Build repeatable processes, tools, and reporting for globally dispersed teams, to simplify execution on strategic deals Engage and Gather feedback from field teams, customers, and partners to support evolving customer needs and drive continuous improvement of programs & initiatives Develop plans and processes, and routinely communicate and document the measurement and impact of strategic programs to the leadership team, and include program perspectives in other planning processes as needed Set and manage the cadence for monitoring performance against goals, ensuring all stakeholders understand and plan for what needs to be delivered throughout the year Develop global communications plans for our strategic initiative and ensure AWS Leadership is kept updated on performance, risks and blockers Coordinate and contribute to our semi-annual business planning process Engage and collaborate with AWS healthcare marketing to continuously deliver healthcare messaging that differentiates AWS value to AWS partners and healthcare provider organizations Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and exercises that assist the program leaders and stakeholders in optimizing effectiveness amongst themselves and across the organization in general Take on special projects on an as needed basis to include delivering on narrowly focused tasks to broader ranging initiatives that need definition and the curation of insights Expand AWS healthcare knowledge base via documented learning and published best practicesA day in the lifeDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences. 5+ years business operations / program management

5+ years of experience in healthcare, healthcare software technology, and operations

5+ years of experience analyzing and managing complex and global programs

5+ years supporting sales / partner organizations and managing GTM performance

Experience launching and growing successful solutions and initiatives

Experience in the use of Salesforce, Tableau, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

PMP Certification

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
