Position Overview
This is a key role within our firm. You will handle payroll for multiple companies, prepare monthly unaudited financial statements for multiple clients. This part-time position offers more hours during tax season and a flexible schedule during the off-season.
Responsibilities
Perform monthly bookkeeping services and client reviews
Prepare and analyze financial reports for multiple clients
Manage payroll processing for various businesses
Collaborate with team members on tax issues and solutions
Respond to tax notices from federal and state agencies
Contribute to setting and achieving firm goals
Provide exceptional customer service and timely responses to client needs
Qualifications
Broad accounting experience, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting
Experience with individual tax preparation strongly preferred
Strong QuickBooks Desktop skills
Proven problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Action-oriented and self-motivated
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Customer service focused with a sense of urgency
Tax Return experience is a big plus
