Job Title: Translator AssociateJob DescriptionThe Translator Associate is responsible for providing translation services on the production line to facilitate communication between English and Spanish speaking team members. This role works directly on the manufacturing floor alongside production staff.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate verbal conversations between English and Spanish speaking employees on the production line in real-time.
Translate written instructions, forms, safety documents, and other materials between English and Spanish.
Assist with onboarding and training of Spanish speaking employees by translating orientation and job training materials.
Act as a liaison between employees who do not share a common language to help troubleshoot issues and ensure understanding of tasks, processes, and protocols.
Maintain awareness of production schedules, tasks, and any changes on the floor to effectively translate time-sensitive communications.
Provide simultaneous interpretation during meetings and discussions involving employees with different primary languages.
Maintain confidentiality regarding any private health, personnel, or other sensitive issues that may arise.
Perform regular production tasks and roles as needed to assist on the manufacturing line.
