During the course of our 8 hour shifts, the officer generally checks all doors and windows to make sure they are locked. The officer also:
1) checks the surrounding areas for suspicious activity and/or persons
2) give direction to those seeking destination points and answers to other questions
3) maintains a small amount of paperwork to include a daily report seen by all
NOTE: A certain amount of walking is required regardless of the weather. Our officers do work on holidays and weekends if necessary. They are required to pass both drug and background checks. Required training is paid and uniforms are provided. Copy of your drivers license driving history will be required.
