College degree (preferred) or 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with a minimum of 3 years prior experience as Quality ManagerManufacturing and CNC Machine Shop experience (preferred)Principal Responsibilities:
Responsible for completing First Article Reports, Customer Approval Forms, and maintaining inventory of FAI parts, production samples and customer samples.
Responsible for Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process and insuring we have the latest revision documents.
Establishes, implements, and audits company ISO System along with outside regulatory certifications.
Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
Review new projects and working with customer and internal team to establish inspection requirements for all part.
Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
Responsible for document control of customer supplied drawings. Shall ensure inspection documents are setup and maintained in QMIS.
Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
Responsible for providing technical support for NCR and CR actions including driving metrics, root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal quality problems or customer complaints.
Develop and maintain quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams.
Establish and document work instructions for task within the company
Responsible for calibration system and control of all gauges and tools used to measure parts. Must be proficient and capable of utilizing all gauges, tools, and devices within the quality department.
Devise and review specifications for products or processes
Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standard
Experience with government contracting
