Infrastructure Engineer I Reports to: Chief Technology OfficerLocation: Any Branch, with the ability to work remotely as needed

Position Summary/ Purpose:This position is responsible for implementation, integration, maintenance, upgrade, documentation and troubleshooting of the enterprise infrastructure. Related duties include configuration, administration and troubleshooting of associated hardware and software and approved security controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:1. Assist in the planning, design, and operation of the enterprise infrastructure.2. Implement, manage, and troubleshoot infrastructure systems and related hardware/software components.3. Assist in the development and maintenance of standards, policies, and procedures.4. Monitor system performance, capacity, and provide periodic system status reports.5. Verify backups of systems and data.6. Assist in the planning, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of disaster recovery procedures.7. Participate in project related assignments.8. Conduct periodic security reviews and provide status reports.9. Communicate with vendors as may be required for installation, configuration, licensing, and technical support and purchasing issues.10. Research new technology and participate in the recommendations and plans for optimizing the enterprise infrastructure.11. Be an escalation point for Service Desk.12. Provide periodic off-hour support function. (i.e Hardware replacements, system updates, etc.)13. Other duties as assigned.

  • Remote access understanding
  • Working knowledge of virtualization technology, specifically VMWare.
  • Knowledge of Wide Area Networks and Internetworking.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, Windows 10/11, Office 2016 and later. Exchange 2016, Azure, M365
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies including DHCP, DNS Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and PowerShell scripting.

Education/Experience Requirements:1. 2 year technical degree or equivalent work experience required.2. 3 plus years of work experience in a technical environment required.3. Technical certification preferred (CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, Windows Server MCSA).

Working Conditions:1. Work indoors in a standard office environment.2. Predominately sitting or standing for extended periods of time, some walking, some climbing stairs, and occasionally driving a car. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder level.3. Requires dexterity of hands and fingers to operate calculator, computer keyboard, and mouse.4.
