Lab Research Chemist/Physicist Engineer IIMaplewood-(80% on-site)Estimated 24+ months-$29.00Volt Technical Resources has an exciting opportunity with our client who is an industry leader in their field.What you will be doing:
- Support stability and quality control testing of healthcare products through analytical testing techniques
- Operate and maintain a variety of lab equipment including HPLC, UPLC, pH, UV, FTIR, etc
- Performing tests on samples using various scientific techniques
- Preparing materials for tests, such as reagents and solutions
Education 4 year degree in some science related field such as Chemistry, Biology etc Or 1 or 2 year degree that focus on testing (medical) samples.• Basic understanding of statistical techniques, data analysis, and variability as well as basic scientific principles, concepts and methodology governing work performed.• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Minitab)• Basic lab procedures (wet chemistry, pH, dilutions, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:• Working knowledge of HPLC, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, FTIR• Chromatographic method development and validation a plus• Specific experience with Empower chromatographic data system beneficial• Industry laboratory experience (including internships) a plusVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer
