Restoration Carpenter

Artisan Restoration is looking for a skilled lead carpenter and two semiskilled individuals to do a variety of repair work on old barns and log cabins. This includes carpentry work needed to repair and replace logs along with water damaged materials as well as caulking, staining and other routine maintenance work. Our log home projects range from newer homes to pioneer log cabins on the National Register of Historic Places. Our barn projects range from replacing a collapsed wall on a dairy barn to dismantling a mortise and tenon barn and building a new home out of the it. This is challenging and rewarding work unlike building cookie cutter homes and your normal stuff. In order to do it some travel is required with generous per diem and travel time paid to and from each job.
