Responsibilities OVERVIEW Provide technical quality management systems (QMS) expertise to the Pet organization as part of the corporate Quality & Food Safety (QFS) team. The scope includes designing, building, implementing, and overseeing key components of a quality management system including, but not limited to, general quality management systems software, corporate policies, internal and external audit programs, crisis management program, KPIs, complaints, and training. The role collaborates closely with both the corporate and internal Pet plant teams to enable continuous improvement across all aspects of the Quality & Food Safety function with an emphasis on bold, creative and efficient problem solving to enable all to win as one PCB. Location: this position offers hybrid flexibility from our Lakeville Corporate Campus. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Provide ownership and oversight of the QMS software systems inclusive of contracts, budgets, access, training, and vendor interface (scope dependent on each individual system): Own the Pet QFS SharePoint site with oversight of the content and provide oversight to the corporate Pet QFS owned software- Intelex, ATS, CAPA, Environmap Provide consulting and proactive support for plant owned systems (RedZone, Cosmos, Korber) and R&D owned systems (DevEx, Perten (NIR)) Provide oversight of corporate policies inclusive of SOPs, work instructions, forms, and guidance documents with leadership around the annual review process Create a review process and team that will define the approval process, create a review cadence, and assign content ownership Create and execute an internal audit program for Pet while optimizing the external audit program for Pet (SQF vs. BRC) inclusive of being the main point of contact for service providers, contracts, scheduling, and budgeting Own tracking/trending/recording/reporting/storing of all audits (internal/external/customer/regulatory/certification) Own and lead the biannual crisis management/mock recall exercise for Pet Create a robust process to ensure the proper storage of key documents such as registrations, regulatory documents, certifications, import/export documents Lead the monthly KPI reporting while partnering with the QFS Pet leadership team on the annual update process inclusive of KPI definitions, goals, measurements, storage Lead the complaint process, escalation and reporting across the Pet network Assess, build and coordinate a high-level training plan for the Pet network (PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner, 3111 etc.) Lead other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Four-year college degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Engineering or other related field of study required Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and SQF Certification preferred Experience Minimum of 3 years of food product experience required preferably in a manufacturing plant setting Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work with a PC and have demonstrated math/statistical computation skills Savvy computer skills to build dashboards, reports, SharePoint sites Collaborative with all levels of the organization Ability to compile, analyze and present collected data in summary form Ability to communicate technical, scientific, and regulatory information, both written and verbally Interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to make presentations, facilitate meetings, probe for root cause, and provide training to various groups within the organization Knowledge of CI problem solving toolsPost Holdings provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, status as a covered veteran and any other category protected under applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
