MRO Coordinator

Basic Job Description:The MRO Coordinator is a supportive position in the Reliability Department, specifically designed to facilitate the smooth operations of the MRO parts rooms. This role will take on day-to-day operational tasks and assist the MRO Facilitator with broader inventory management and reduction strategies.Essential Functions (Responsibilities):Observes all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, attending EHS meetings when required.Assists with the daily management of the MRO parts room including parts issuance/returns, reorders, and basic inventory tasks.Handles the receiving, shelving, kitting, and delivery of incoming materials.Collaborates with the MRO Facilitator to ensure accuracy in inventory counts and stock levels.Provides customer service locating parts within the storeroom and Maximo and teaches users how to navigate in both environments.Provides rapid response to urgent parts requests, ensuring minimal downtime in maintenance operations.Assists with the organization of the parts room, ensuring it remains clean, safe, and efficient.Communicates effectively with the Maintenance and Facilities team regarding parts availability, lead times, and potential delays.Supports the facilitator in analyzing parts usage trends and suggesting potential stocking adjustments.Assists with the implementation of new inventory management systems or software as required.Other duties as assigned.
