Position Overview:As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for processing payroll for employees across the organization, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll discrepancies, and supporting the company’s commitment to operational excellence. This role will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing: Manage and process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure payroll is in compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Prepare and analyze payroll-related reports.
Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate payroll records, including updates to employee information, deductions, and benefits.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, working closely with HR and accounting teams to correct errors.
System Management: Utilize payroll software to enter, update, and maintain employee data and ensure proper payroll deductions.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with policies and regulations.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with HR, finance, and other teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
Payroll Software: Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Kronos, Workday, or similar systems).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and tax compliance.
Skills: High attention to detail, excellent communication, and analytical skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to independently resolve payroll discrepancies and issues efficiently.
Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:This is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite per week in the Eden Prairie, MN office.
