Responsibilities:
Daily Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders (data architects, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, project management, etc.) in producing sound data architecture deliverables including concepts and models
- Recommend, document, and support delivery of pragmatic data architecture that fulfills specific business requirements while addressing major architectural concerns, such as performance, scalability, data quality and data privacy
- Maintain alignment with enterprise strategy, reference architecture, architecture principles and other guidelines produced by the Architecture Office
- Maintain enterprise model(s) and act as domain expert for two or more data domains
- Create target and future state models for data in motion and data at rest
- Partner with API, web service and data integration teams to design data contracts and schemes for integration (internal and external)
- Provide leadership in ongoing development and improvement of data architecture practice
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years leading requirement elicitation, analysis and design of data concepts and data models
- 3+ years of experience with service-oriented and domain-driven design
- 3+ years of experience with canonical and message modeling
- Working knowledge of HL7, NCPDP or other healthcare information exchange standard
- Experience with PBM and/or health care domain (claim, drug, provider, network, contract)
- Experience leveraging and applying industry standards in support of B2B integrations (API, file, EDI)
- Experience with Scaled Agile framework
- ER/Studio modeling tools
- Pega Platform
- Cloudera or other Big Data distributions
- Denodo data virtualization
- Web Services and APIs (JSON, XML, XSD)
- 3+ years of service-oriented architecture experience working with Applications, Data, Services and APIs projects
- 2+ years Development of canonical and messaging models (XML and/or JSON) leveraging industry standard such as HL7 FHIR
- Experience with data governance & data quality practice
