This role involves actively participating in dismantling operations while also mentoring and guiding junior team members. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on dismantling of PM16 paper mill equipment and related machinery, ensuring all components are carefully disassembled
for transport or repurposing.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to plan and execute dismantling activities.
- Operate specialized tools and equipment, including lifting and rigging devices, to handle large and heavy machinery parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues encountered during dismantling to prevent damage to equipment.
- Conduct detailed inspections of dismantled components to assess their condition and suitability for reuse or resale.
- Collaborate with team members, providing technical input and ensuring seamless communication across the team.
- Mentor and guide junior team members by sharing technical knowledge, demonstrating best practices, and fostering skill development.

- Document and label dismantled components accurately to support inventory management and tracking.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience (5+ years) as a millwright, with significant hands-on experience in dismantling industrial machinery, preferably
paper mill equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of PM16 or similar paper mill machinery is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for dismantling and rigging processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents and schematics.
- Proven ability to mentor and train junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and precision.
- Physical capability to work in demanding environments and handle heavy equipment.
- Certification or vocational training in industrial mechanics, millwrighting, or a related field is preferred.
