Clyde Iron Works is a restaurant, brewery, and event center. We are seeking a dedicated full-time Maintenance/Cleaner person to join our team. This individual is responsible to take care of our facilities and carry out daily cleaning and maintenance duties. Clyde's Cleaner is visible to guests, so they must uphold Clyde's reputation with a clean, friendly and dedicated work ethic. The ability to work well with fellow employees and to gain detailed knowledge of Clyde's campus is essential to succeed in this position. The position requires some flexibility in schedule.
Skills:
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to manage time over a variety of tasks
- General maintenance and repair experience desired
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and familiarity with sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to work as a team member
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning floors, maintaining outside grounds, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning vents, and ensuring restroom are neat and in order
- Adhere to quality standard, in addition to health and safety regulations
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform maintenance repairs when needed.
