As a Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for implementing manufacturing strategies, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Duluth, Georgia location 100% onsite work schedule.In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers. Your contributions will directly impact on our bottom line and help us maintain our position as a global technology leader. RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics OR 5+ years of experience with flat sheet manufacturing quality control system maintenance OR direct employment with radiation regulatory agency; NRC or state agency. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment Experience in driving process improvements and achieving results Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams WE VALUE: Experience in lean manufacturing principles Green Belt Certified, experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen etc. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in manufacturing Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills BENEFITS: Benefits provided may differ by role and location.
