Customer Service Specialist

Description We are in search of a Customer Service Specialist to join our team based in Maple Grove, Minnesota. This role involves interacting with customers, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. You will be part of a dynamic team that ensures high-quality customer service in our industry.Responsibilities: Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding queries such as product prices, availability, and delivery times Process customer orders, changes, and returns in accordance with department policies and procedures Address customer complaints about product quality or delayed shipments, and work towards a resolution Prepare price quotations and initiate purchase orders Manage customer inquiries, being their first point of contact Learn about our product lines and make recommendations to customers Compute prices, discounts, shipping costs, and sales margins Maintain up-to-date customer information in the database Identify and suggest additional purchases of products and services to customers.Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role for a minimum of 3 years Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail Experience in billing and invoice processing tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach Ability to work both independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent qualification required, higher education will be a plus.
