1st or 2nd shift - MIG welder - Full benefits- Pay up to $28/hr.(Will train on TIG welding)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder with comprehensive knowledge of the mig welding process and equipment.The ideal candidate will efficiently fabricate metal products to maximize production, ensure strong, smooth welds, and operate equipment safely.This role requires effective communication with coworkers to direct personal workflow and adherence to assembly procedures using appropriate jigs and fixtures.Responsibilities
Fabricate metal products efficiently to maximize production.
Follow required procedures and use appropriate jigs and fixtures for assembly.
Communicate effectively with other workers to direct workflow.
Perform vertical, flat, and overhead welds with good penetration and quality appearance.
Operate metal fabrication tools such as plasma cutters and acetylene torches.
Utilize math skills including fractions and angles for precise welding.
Work and weld in various positions including kneeling, lying down, and overhead.
Operate shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches.
Use fork trucks, overhead cranes, power tools, wrenches, and levels.
Adhere to assembly, materials, and accounting record-keeping practices by accurately logging information.
Essential Skills
Experience with MIG welding.
Proficient in fabrication and blueprint reading.
Ability to operate plasma cutters and acetylene torches.
Strong math skills including fractions and angles.
Physical ability to work in awkward positions.
