In this position, you play a key role in motivating, training, and developing a team of hourly talent in the paint, fabrications or assembly departments. Using your communication skills and proactive management abilities, you will help execute tasks ensuring the efficiency of your value stream.As a Production Manager, you can expect to:

Supervise and direct the daily activities of production lines workers, assign tasks, ensure coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.

Train new hires, manage scheduling and work conflicts, monitor safety, and promote internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Partner cross-functionally with other departments to prepare, maintain, and update documentation related to operating procedures, safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with other Production Managers in continuous improvement project for the facility.

The successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:

Manufacturing Safety : Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.

Talent Management : Knowledge of human resources and talent management processes and the ability to lead, engage, motivate, evaluate, and reward team members.

Manufacturing Operations: Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.

Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.

Top Candidates for this position may also have:

Experience managing teams to production, budgetary, and efficiency targets.

Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment or other similar roles including the Military

Welding, fabrications or manufacturing experience.

Machining experience.

Experience in multiple manufacturing support disciplines.

Six Sigma Greenbelt.

A thorough knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes.

Additional Information:

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Shift: 2nd – 2PM to 10PM Monday-Friday
