Airport Windsock Corporation, a family-owned industry leader, is seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our team in Lake City, MN. We offer a unique opportunity to combine your craftsmanship with your drive to innovate and contribute to our growing product line.
What You'll Do:
Fabricate high-quality metal components for our aviation and safety products.
Utilize your expertise in metal fabrication and welding.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Operate a variety of metalworking machinery.
Contribute to the development of new products and prototypes.
Potentially train and mentor less experienced fabricators as our team expands.
What We'll Need:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in metal fabrication.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a thriving company.
Strong professional references are essential.
A "can-do" attitude, whether in getting the job done or learning something new.
Enjoys the challenges involved in wearing multiple hats in this position.
Machining & tig welding experience is preferred but not required.
What We Offer:
Standard $2,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Additional $2,000 Relocation Bonus for candidates moving to Lake City from outside our immediate area.
Competitive pay ranging from $26 to $34 per hour, based on experience and skills.
Rapid pay increases.
Potential for increased earnings based on machining or other relevant experience.

Sign-On & Relocation Bonus Payout
For successful candidates who relocate for this position, we offer both a sign-on bonus and relocation compensation, paid out as follows: $1,000 after 30 days, $1,000 for relocation after 60 days, $1,000 after 90 days, and the final $1,000 relocation payment after 120 days of continuous employment. The relocation definition will be defined before the hire date.
