Ultrasound Sonographer - Bemidji

General job duties. Types of procedures required.Perform general ultrasound exams including small parts, abdomen and OB/GYN independently. Must be proficient in OB scanning as this is a high percentage of exams performed. Ability to assist with IR/Radiologist procedures requiring ultrasound guidance. Ability to perform breast ultrasound and breast procedures.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.Ultrasound equipment: Client Logiq E10 and S8, Philips CX-50. EMR - EPIC, PACs - SECTRARequired skills and minimum years of experience.Two years' experience in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in all exams in general job duties description above. Strong scanning abilities in OB and Breast required.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Both AB (abdomen), OB/GYN & BR specialty registries preferred.Floating to other units/departments.NoBed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.100 bed hospital and busy clinic - sonographers perform 10-12 exams per 8 hour shift.Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.Sonographer will be orientated to department procedures, policies and scan protocols by lead sonographer in department.
