Description We are in search of an HR consultant to work in the Leave of Absence space. This highly interactive role requires excellent ability in building and maintaining relationships with managers, HR, and site safety personnel. The role includes a considerable emphasis on accommodations for those returning from leave, handling workers' compensation return to work matters, and managing a high volume of cases.Responsibilities Include:
Handling accommodations for employees coming back from leave and pre-employment accommodations.
Clearly understanding ADA/policies rights.
Exhibiting deep understanding of HR practices and business.
Managing relationships with the managers, HR and site safety teams.
Addressing workers compensation return to work issues.
Reviewing return to work forms and knowing when to raise questions.
Displaying keen insight on potential red flags.
Managing high volume case workloads, including emails and phone calls, with a portfolio of 100-125 cases.
Requirements
Systems Knowledge:
Familiarity with Peoplesoft.
Knowledge of workers compensation systems
Strong technical skills.
Key Qualifications:
Extensive experience in handling accommodations in an HR role.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, both written and oral.
