Summary:
Use AutoCAD (2005 or later) and/or 2D/3D SolidWorks to create and modify engineering drawings such as electrical schematics, panel layouts, brackets, and wireway layouts for blow molding machinery production and retrofitting.Key Responsibilities:Create/update Bills of Materials in the mainframe system.Collaborate with engineers to modify and upgrade design documents.Implement Engineering Change Orders based on input from Engineering, Production, and Service.Assist in maintaining safety signs and labels database for engraving.Modify machine diagrams and mechanical assembly drawings.Communicate with external equipment manufacturers to ensure design integration.Produce detailed multi-view drawings from sketches and layouts.Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, and assembly relationships.Calculate angles, weights, tolerances, and other design parameters.
