2nd shift Automation Technician in Whitehall, Michigan.Seeking an automation or controls tech to join our team on 2nd Shift (2:45pm-10:45pm). The pay range for this position is $25.50-30/hour based on experience, plus 4% bonus eligibility based on plant performance.Key Responsibilities: You’ll work closely with product, process, and manufacturing engineers to enhance operating processes, cycle times, quality, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and labor utilization through automation.
Programming Robots: Develop and optimize robotic programs to improve efficiency.
Troubleshooting: Use schematics to diagnose and fix issues with PLCs, pneumatics, and robotics.
Continuous Improvement: Assist engineers in refining processes to boost productivity and quality.
