The Breakie Bunch is adding a GSRP Classroom and we are looking for an awesome person, who wants the opportunity to grow with us. We are looking for an experienced lead teacher who is ready to take the next step into GSRP. This person would Implement the curriculum, orchestrate assessments in the classroom, ensure the health and safety of everyone in the classroom, Build quality relationships with the families and continue to work on their own professional development. Time management skills are a must and the ability to take initiative will be crucial as we do not believe in micromanaging.Some of the responsibilities include:

Being a support to the teachers with a positive attitude

Create a monthly newsletter to be put out the last week of the month

Create a monthly calendar with activities to be put out the last week of the month

Make sure cleaning lists are being initialed and address it if not

Pass out Scholastic flyers each month, place the order and disperse books when they arrive

Enjoy and complete ongoing training for self growth

Requirements

MUST have a positive attitude

Meet State licensing requirements for a director

CPR and First aid certified

Desire to grow with The Breakie Bunch

Bloodborne Pathogen training before starting

Love for teaching and commitment

Show initiative and offer ideas and suggestions

Ability to follow directions and implement program activities

Communication skills

Leadership skills

Kindness and customer service skills

Ability to work as team

Follow through

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred). OR A valid Michigan teaching certificate and an Early Childhood Education (ZA) or Early Childhood-General and Special Education (ZS) endorsementBenefits
