Do you love to work outdoors? Do you love gardening & growing plants OR have you always had a desire to learn? Do you enjoy physical exercise and don't mind getting a little dirt under your fingernails? Nagelkirk's department manager of perennial flowers, shrubs, and trees is looking for part-time help beginning late March 2021. Experience not required but a sincere desire to learn and love of plants is a must. We can teach you the rest. The part-time position will be flexible, 2-3 days per week, 9-5 daily. the position would begin late March and run through end of August. You will be trained in the growing and ongoing care of potted perennial flowers, shrubs, and trees. The work can be vigorous at times when moving and organizing trays of perennial and heavy pots of shrubs. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds is required at times during the season and bending/stooping is necessary daily. The ability to work outside in inclement weather - hot or cold, wet or dry - is also required. If this sounds like fun to you (we think it is) then we'd love to hear from you!
