Honesty is hard to find. So is someone that truly takes pride in their craft.
It turns out that 10% of people will lie every chance they get. They'll be dishonest about insignificant things just because they can. It doesn't make sense, but that's how they operate.
Then there is another 10% that will NEVER lie about anything. They're brutally honest about everything Even to a fault.
And then there is the other 80%. These folks (who happen to be the majority of the population) practice situational ethics. They live in a world of gray.
Well I'm not gray about my customers. I ONLY want what is best for them. I ONLY want to do what is right.
After all, these are the same cars that are sharing a road with me, you, and our families.
So
I'm looking for ONE Auto Mechanic professional that prides themselves on their honesty and quality craftsmanship.
If that's you, let's jump on the phone and talk.
For what I'll be expecting from you, here's a brief list:
Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles and deliver them ON TIME.
Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs.
Inspect and test vehicles for safety and reliability.
Move vehicles in and out of the shop because we're limited in space.
Push in vehicles that just won't start in the parking lot. Even when it's cold or really hot.
I don't own a huge facility with 50 bays and impersonal service. We're small, but put out the highest quality work.
If you're tired of compromising the quality of YOUR work because of:
- Low quality (read: CHEAP) parts,
- Rushed Service Managers just looking to pump up their numbers,
- Managers practicing situational ethics who don't allow YOU to do a complete repair,
- Incompetent, unprofessional "helpers" that cause you more work,
- Customers that just want the cheapest repairs done without consideration of safety or reliability,
then we'll be a good fit.

Qualifications?
Yes, you need to be qualified Here's what I'm looking for:
- YOU MUST KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! - I know, I know. I ask too much.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Lab Scope & J2534 Experience strongly desired
- Don't break more stuff than you're repairing.
- Don't be the guy that leaves parts off the car and says, "meh, it doesn't really need it". (It's that whole "honesty" thing, remember?)
I do my best to make this an enjoyable place to work where everybody involved can earn a good living.
Remember:
I own the place, so I'm flexible on pay, benefits, time-off, etc. etc.
Most things are negotiable.
