POSITION PURPOSE: To create financial clarity and actionable insights, providing analysis of past results and foresight for future investments. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness IntelligenceMonthly Reporting: Develop and deliver executive-friendly monthly reports quickly and robustly summarize the Manthei Group’s financial position.Financial Data Visualization: Standardize and integrate data from various departments and sources into cohesive visualizations, including: ○ Income Statements ○ Balance Sheets ○ Cash Flow StatementsEmployee Flourishing: Design and generate reports to track employee well-being metrics.Debt Analysis: Provide visualizations of both internal and external debt.Investment Analysis: Track and compare investment pro formas to actual performance.Data Analysis and VisualizationSpreadsheet Mastery: Must be extremely proficient in spreadsheet software and formula creationBusiness Intelligence Tools: Demonstrate expertise in visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio (the platform we use).Key Metrics: Identify critical numbers and recommend strategies for improvement.Data Practices Advocacy: Guide teams in structuring data into usable formats and creating visual spreadsheet databases.Investment Pro Forma Creation and AnalysisDevelop tools to standardize pro formas across diverse investments.Perform comparative analyses of recent investments and actual results.Accounting ResponsibilitiesPossess a deep understanding of accounting principles and rules.Support and analyze monthly financial statements.Prepare simple monthly financial statements.ERP (NetSuite) Coordination: ○ Lead ERP best practices across the enterprise. ○ Oversee ERP projects to optimize operations and reporting.Future Growth PotentialThis role offers several pathways for professional growth based on skills, interests, and performance:Individual Contributor: Deepen your expertise in the outlined responsibilities and continuously add value to these areas.Leadership: Develop a team to expand your impact, create new efficiencies, and scale your contributions.Operational Role: Transition into a leadership role within one of our business units as opportunities arise.CompensationBase Salary: $60,000 per yearBonus: Up to 10% of base salary, tied to performance metricsBenefitsEmployee Housing: Subsidized housing to support your relocation and integration into the Petoskey community.JOB INFORMATIONJOB TYPE: Full-time/Exempt/PermanentWAGE PER HOUR: The starting salary offered for this position is $60,000 per year.HOURS PER WEEK: As this is an exempt position, it should be expected that a standard workweek will consist of approximately 45 hours/week.OVER TIME: Not paid, this is an exempt position.WORKWEEK: Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM.WORK EXTRA DAYS: This will be very rare, but possible.PAYMENT DAYS: Biweekly on Thursdays.PAYMENT TYPE: Direct Deposit.
