Busy Brunch cafe currently hiring EXPERIENCED line cooks who are proficient at cooking short order-style breakfast/lunch service.
Candidates must be able to successfully flip eggs in a pan with minimal breakage.
Daily tasks include:
- Preparing, stocking, opening cook line
-Making hollandaise sauce from eggs and butter(not from a powder)
-Cooking menu items to order from guests
-Ensuring that your cook line is neat, sanitary and organized at all times
-Participating in daily prep tasks
-Assisting dishwashers when needed
-Breaking down, cleaning and closing the kitchen at the end of each shift
-Maintaining a positive attitude
-Has the ability to work well as a team
Potential candidates must be punctual, dedicated and reliable. Must be physically able to move gracefully in a small area. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Maintaining a meticulously clean, safe and sanitary environment is an extremely important aspect of our kitchen. We require all employees to participate in maintaining previously set standards.
