Description:
We are a general trades / general contracting company that services the commercial construction industry. We work with most major general contractors on projects from student housing and apartments to restaurant chains, medical facilities, factories, office buildings, and retail stores. We also provide general contracting services for projects up to $2 million. We are based in west michigan and we service the surrounding area. We are a growing company and are looking to expand our workforce with quality driven people to support our growth.
We are currently looking for experienced finish carpenters. Experience as a foreman is a plus
Job Description
- General carpentry
Examples:
- Hollow metal door frames
- Commercial doors and hardware
- Cabinets, countertops and window sills
- Finish trim (casing and base)
- Washroom accessories, partitions, and lockers
- Wall protection
- In wall backing / blocking
- Quality installation of all of the above
Job Requirements
- Minimum 6-10 years of construction experience
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to take direction
- Able to safely operate tools and equipment
- Able to work with minimal supervision and be a self starter
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Able to work overtime
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must have personal hand tools and select power tools
Compensation
- Starting total compensation range is $20 - $29 / hr (depending on skill and experience)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance available after 90 days
- PTO available after 90 days
- Paid vacation after 1 year

- Bi-annual bonus / profit share plan
