Employment Type:Part timeShift:Rotating ShiftDescription:Under general supervision, according to established procedures, performs regular pick-up and delivery rounds on nursing units. Fills medication order with appropriate medications (for review and approval by Registered Pharmacist) and prepares associated documents. Qualifications: Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a relatively brief period of intensive training following high school, and three to six months experience in order to acquire a basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, learn correct procedures for weighing, measuring, and labeling drug orders and IV admixtures, learn departmental procedures for operations and learn proper aseptic technique. MUST be full licensed by the State of Michigan.Hours of work: Variable shifts, 06000-1430, 1430-2300.
