Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated

Tableau Architect who is passionate about building out scalable solutions to solve unique problems. You will focus on scaling insights and analytics internally across the business and building out client-facing reporting and analytics. You will enable our clients to better understand how the consumer is responding to digital and print advertising signals. And enable our internal team optimize performance, respond to client questions, and drive pre-sales insights.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner closely with the product team to drive design and development of dashboards and expand the use of Tableau across the company to drive scalable insights.

Technical management of the Tableau Server Infrastructure including data source management, performance tuning, patching, and monitoring.

Leverage your deep working knowledge of Tableau’s processes, performance, content migration, REST APIs, and security to create a scalable infrastructure for both internal and external needs

Have a deep knowledge of the best practices in data visualization and data source optimization to create useful and effective dashboards

Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, test, and productionalize new dashboards to drive actionable insights and drive incremental revenue

Develop and provide documentation and support for power users

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred quantitative field (Math, Economics,

Statistics, Engineering, computer science, etc)

+5 years of experience in a large-scale Tableau environment, 3+ with a

role as an architect

Experience with a diverse range of data sources

3+ years using Postgres, Hadoop, Hive, Oracle or similar databaseAbility to design and implement ETL solutions that work with Tableau

Experience with agile processes

Understanding of data management and development best practices

Excellent communication and requirement gathering skills

Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and deliver results to

key stakeholders

Tableau, Jira, Confluence

Desktop publishing programs,Microsoft Word,Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook

Python, R, SQL or similar programming language

Spark, Hadoop
