Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality therapeutic services to their clients and maintain professional communication among and partner with the administrative and clinical team. We value your autonomy to choose the populations you would like to work with as well as flexibility in the schedule you would like to maintain for yourself. The percentage of your contractual pay varies between 65% to 75%, based on number of clients you see.

Duties

This role requires a strong understanding of psychological principles and the ability to apply them in a clinical outpatient setting.

Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans with clients that promote mental wellness and desired goal achievement.

Address a range of mental health concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and emotional barriers.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes.

Adapt and use EMR software system and maintain up to date communications, clinical documentation and availability schedule.

Attend quarterly "all staff" and some of our biweekly clinical collaborative meetings/trainings to enhance clinical skills and build community.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Position requires a full licensed master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or psychology. Limited licenses may also apply and quality licensed supervision is available on site. Position requires a minimum of one (1) year experience in a mental health counseling capacity.

Ideal Skills

Adequate knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application in therapy.

Proficiency in conducting individual and group counseling sessions effectively.

Familiarity and desire to support diverse populations.

Competence in utilizing ICD-10 coding for documentation purposes.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.

Strong analytical skills for conducting research and applying findings to practice.
