We are looking for a few caregivers for adult care homes across the Lansing, Okemos, East Lansing and Eaton Rapids areas.
Skills Needed:
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid drivers license.
- Ability to carry up to 40lbs.
- Ability to maintain professionalism at all times, with residents, co-workers and manager.
- Ability to attend necessary trainings (ex: medication administration, recipient rights, nutrition, etc.)
- Experience as a caregiver, working with patients who have developmental disabilities and mental illnesses.
- Ability to care up to 6 residents alone, up to 12 with 2 other staff members.
- Ability to assist with showers and personal care.
- Ability to make 3 nutritious meals a day.
- Ability to complete laundry.
- Ability to maintain a clean facility.
- Ability to follow a plan of care for each resident.
-Ability to transport and accompany patients to medical appointments.
- Ability to provide good references.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Each location has various needs. The needs are listed below:
Lansing Locations:
- Looking for 4 caregivers that will work a one-week on/one-week off schedule (Applicants are only working 2 weeks out of the month, must be able to stay on-site during work weeks).
- Some locations have less than 6 residents.
- Salary: For facilities up to 6 residents ($2300-2500/two-week salary), more hours are available upon request.
Okemos Locations:
- Looking for 4 caregivers that will work a one-week on/one-week off schedule (Applicants are only working 2 weeks out of the month, must be able to stay on-site during work weeks).
- Some locations have less than 6 residents.
- Salary: For facilities up to 6 residents ($2300-2500/two-week salary)
East Lansing Locations:
- Looking for 4 caregivers that will work a one-week on/one-week off schedule (Applicants are only working 2 weeks out of the month, must be able to stay on-site during work weeks).
- Some locations have less than 6 residents.
- Salary: For facilities up to 6 residents ($2300-2500/two-week salary)
Eaton Rapids Locations:
- Looking for 2 live-in caregivers that will work 4: 12 hour shifts a week
- This location has up to 12 residents.
- Salary: $3000 monthly.
If you have worked at any group home in these cities, all references will be checked.
