Location: Lansing, MI Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience Description: Our Client is seeking a System Application Administrator

Primary responsibilities:
  • User access
  • Monitoring tickets (escalating technical tickets to Client's consulting partner)
  • Monitoring updates and patches for all applications (DocuSign, Symitar etc.)

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Administers, analyzes, implements, monitors, and modifies enterprise computer systems and applications of moderate to high complexity following company standards, practices, and procedures. Supports application systems with a focus on Symitar.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    -30% Lead product support initiatives, including upgrade and maintenance processes, and system

    integrations, new product application setup, and development of application add-ons.

    -20% Support employees in their use of Symitar; including general questions, managing user access,

    and coordination of initiatives with consulting partner

    host. Continuous education on initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and member service levels.

    -20% Monitors and analyzes solutions/enhancements being introduced by existing vendors/partners for introduction and integration with organizational initiatives and strategic plans.

    -10% Creates technical documents to be used for support and training. Provide knowledge transfer and guidance regarding maintenance processes and application technical design, analysis, development, testing, debugging, and implementation.

    -10% Monitors system SLAs.

    -5% Commitment to continue education through certifications, conferences and/or training.

    -5% Performs other related duties as assigned.

    1. Success of vendor/partner working relationships.

    2. Maintaining a positive professional attitude.

    3. Audit, exam and Information Technology test results are promptly addressed in coordination with IT management.

    4. Disaster planning and mitigation strategies are effective and well documented.

    5. Effective project management from inception through implementation. On time, on scope, on budget.

    6. Helpdesk ticket response time, management and organization.

    7. Following policies, processes and procedures.

    8. Product/service/system "up-time."

    9. Timely completion of all company and IT required trainings.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience:

    Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

    Education:

    (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the

    industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in

    lieu of a degree).
