The Role:We are currently interviewing SLPs to join AnthroMed for the 2023-2024 school year to support a center-based school in Lansing, MI. If you enjoy collaborating with other clinicians and growing your therapy skillset, this position offers 1:1 support and "grad school-like" comradery! Caseload Details: This full-time position splits a caseload with another licensed SLP in the building, so there will be daily opportunities for collaboration. This center serves students from Kindergarten through Transition age. Many students utilize assistive technology and there is an AAC consultant in the building. SLP Responsibilities:
Evaluate student’s speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans
Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students according to the students’ IEPs
Conduct and analyze assessmentsto determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
Develop treatment plans, in conjunction with instructional staff, that are strength-based, as well as child and family-centered for overall educational improvement
Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines
Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid MI license through LARA
Prior school experience
