Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Manager with HVAC experience to lead and oversee the mechanical aspects of retrofitting an existing factory into a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing plant for a high-profile client. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of the project within the specified timeline and budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:  Lead the development of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.Manage and mentor a team of engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.Oversee all mechanical engineering aspects of the project, including HVAC systems design, installation, and commissioning.Lead the mechanical engineering efforts specifically related to battery retrofit projects.Ensure integration of battery systems with existing factory infrastructure.Develop and implement innovative solutions for retrofitting existing facilities to accommodate battery manufacturing processes.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and complies with relevant codes and regulations.Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.Provide regular updates to senior management and the client on project status, milestones, and any issues.Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation and change orders.Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site to protect workers and equipment.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
