Description We are in search of a meticulous Human Resources/Office Manager to join our client's team in the construction industry, based in Lansing, Illinois. The Human Resources/Office Manager will act as the primary contact for various stakeholders, supervise recruitment processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee administrative tasks. This role also involves the management of incentive programs and company directories. THIS POSITIONS IS 100% IN-OFFICE.Please read requirements before applyingResponsibilities:Responsibilities: Be the main liaison for insurance providers, benefits suppliers, and staff members. Manage the hiring and integration process for incoming employees. Update and handle the organizational manual according to current rules and procedures. Join in management meetings and assist in the decision-making procedures. Keep the company's contact list and organization charts updated for effective internal communication. Confirm that driver qualification records, licenses, registrations, and renewals are current. Supervise reward programs such as recognitions, competitions, and staff gatherings. Oversee third-party compliance firms and keep a record of work-related ailments, incidents, and accidents. Issue HR updates including quarterly bulletins. Work with the Safety Director to ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.Requirements A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required, PHR or SPHR desired 5+ years in a similar position as an Office and Human Resources Manager Construction industry experience, preferably union Familiarity of OSHA regulations Experience in maintaining and updating employee handbooks Knowledge of safety programs and guidelines, especially in relation to commercial construction projects Foundational HR law experience Ability to coordinate meetings and book travel arrangements Understanding and adherence to OSHA regulations and guidelines Proven track record in handling administrative tasks related to construction projects.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
