Title: Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist IIDuration: 1yearLocation: Lansing, MI (Work will be on-site two days a week)

Job Description:This position will support the client geospatial enterprise as a member of the team responsible for configuration and operational support of enterprise GIS software and systems that leverage the environment. This position is a key technical resource expected to possess extensive experience and understanding of ESRI software, including ArcGIS Enterprise and extensions, ArcGIS desktop, troubleshooting, publishing map services, as well as an understanding of geospatial data structure and management.

Primary duties include, but not limited toAdministration and management of ArcGIS Enterprise implementations for state agenciesImplementing geodatabase changes and management of geodatabase versionsConfiguring and publishing of map servicesFacilitating meetings with state agency customers using the geospatial enterprise servicesTroubleshooting system issues and working with vendors, DTMB staff, and customers to resolve

Desired technical and software skills include, but not limited to:ESRI ArcGIS EnterpriseESRI GeoEvent Server, Workflow ManagerESRI ArcGIS ProMicrosoft SQL ServerPythonExperience with geodatabases and geodata managementArcGIS Online
