Help Wanted: Chef Lead for National Guard and Corporate Events
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Chef Lead for several upcoming gigs starting December 7, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing monthly feeding contracts for various National Guard units and corporate events.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of food service
Current food handler’s permit
A location to complete the work (home cooks encouraged to apply)
Reliable transportation
Ability to set up, serve, and deliver to corporate and government entities
Capable of working with limited supervision
Ability to handle unplanned circumstances (e.g., weather or location changes)
Entrepreneurial spirit, ideal for someone looking to launch their own catering or private chef business
Additional Details:
Pay: $125-$175 per day (maximum 6 hours a day)
Work is on weekends, primarily during lunchtime for training seminars
Required attire: Black non-skid shoes, black slacks, white polo shirt
Current assignments available for 5 months
Ability to travel throughout home state is a plus
