Lab Sample Management Associate

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Supporting colleagues in a variety of study activities related to sample collection and tracking. Generation of labels and/or labeled tubes to support In vivo studiesReceiving and storing samples from In vivo studiesChecking out and delivering samples to bioanalysts for analysisReceiving and checking in samples from bioanalysts for long-term archivingDiscarding samples that have reached their retention time limitProcessing biospecimens, including centrifugation and aliquoting of samplesPerforming all the above functions utilizing ThermoFisher Watson LIMS or other tracking systemPerforming all the above functions under both GLP/GCP and non GLP/GCP conditionsCreating sample manifestsAssembling study kitsLearning and using automation for labeling tubes and sorting samplesInterfacing with project teams to understand STL needsOrganizing and planning STL activities to support varying and changing timelines from multiple studies
